I've decided that Conference weekend is a great weekend for a vacation. You can still watch it on tv or listen on the radio, but in a way better place than your own living room. This last weekend we went and stayed in a cabin with Justin and Darla and their kids at Zions Ponderosa. It was on the east side of Zions closer to Kanab than St. George. The cabin was nice and it's a good thing because it rained on us all day Saturday. So we mostly hung out in the cabin. We were sad that it rained though because they had zip lines, horse rides, basketball courts, volleyball (me and Darla need some serious practice), 4-wheeling, tennis, a hot tub, pool you name it! We did get to go in the rec building and play pool, ping pong, some inside volleyball, fooseball, and let the kids run around to release some extra energy. Cory did brave the rain with the kids and took them to the pool for a little while. He's a lot nicer than me, no way will I get in my swimming suit in the freezing rain and jump in any sort of water-except for a hot tub and we did plenty of that. We also stopped at Zions on our way home and took the kids on a little hike. It was lots of fun. I'd definitely like to visit that place on a sunny day.

Meg loved this empty cupboard. She sat in there and ate her dinner. Syd was so good to play with Meg. Hailey was too. It's so nice to have little girls fighting over your baby.

Isn't this picture adorable? Walker and Jonah had so much fun together. I think Jonah is watching Walker play his DS right here. Walker told me on Saturday night, " I don't want this day to ever end!" I guess thats a good indication that he was having a lot of fun.

Fun times! Too bad it rained so much. We were in the same situation...at a cabin with all sorts of fun stuff to do outside and you're stuck inside cuz of the weather. Looks like you still had lots of fun though!
I totally agree with traveling over conference weekend. My family use to do the Nebo Loop in the fall and listen to conference, it almost seems even more spiritual. You look really good by the way. Way to be a slim mom!
Sounds like a great weekend! I bet it was nice to just get away and relax. Did you guys eat a lot of good food? That is the most important thing?! :)
