Walker has been waiting for years to be old enough to play flag football. Well, the time has finally came and he has loved every bit of it.

9 years old
Walker turned 9 this year. Yes I said 9 years old. So crazy. It's hard to watch him get older but it's so fun to see the little boy he's turning into. He's got such a sense of humor, he's obsessed with sports, xbox, friends, and Preslie. He is loving 3rd grade. He told me that it was his favorite year so far. He also told me that it's too easy though. Just wait buddy...
We love him to pieces.
Walker really wanted to have a Sports party this year so after lots and lots of planning....texting my friends and telling them Walker was having a party the night before. We decided to throw one together. I was mean and only let him have three friends. They had lots of fun though and I got to keep my sanity.

| Little did we know, until this picture was uploaded, that Austin totally blew Walker's candles out. So funny! |
Yellowstone
This year for family vacation we went to Yellowstone with Cory's family and stayed in Island Park. We had lots of fun, saw lots and lots and lots of scenery, geysers, buffalo, elk, and even a mama bear and her cub! We were actually just driving in Island Park when we saw the bears run across the road. So glad I was in the car!! We stayed in some really nice and way cute cabins. We went into Yellowstone two separate days and had some days just hanging out in the cabins relaxing, hot tubbing, playing settlers, and chasing lots of kids. We had a really fun game of Newlyweds one of the nights too. I really do have the best in-laws.

I know this picture looks like we are torturing our daughter, but that's because we were. It was so funny how afraid she was and we had to take a few pictures

Red Rock Relay
A bunch of my friends and I ran the Red Rock Relay this year in September. It was one of the most fun things I've done. Talk about the most gigglingest, stinkiest, sweatiest, bondingest, cheerleadingest, hardest time of your life! (Yes I made up some of my own words to describe my experience) We stayed in Stacia's in-law's cabin up Parowan and I got about 4 hours of sleep the first night. We started the race at about 6 a.m. at Brian Head and finished around noon the next day in Springdale (right by Zions canyon). We lived in the car for most of the time except for some much needed breaks at Cassie's and Haley's. Showers were the best things ever! I ran my first leg (5.8-SO HARD!!!) around 10 am, my second leg (5.6) at about 8:30 pm, and my last leg at about 5 am. All on about 7 hours of sleep in two nights.
Here I am on my first leg pretending like I don't want to fall over and collapse
| Waiting for our turn to run (Erin, Me, Cassie, Darla) |
Here is our whole team minus Michelle who was running at the moment.
Van 1's first leg finished
Stripe #1
Tiff, Me, and Kathi
These two were on another team from Delta and we got to run with them for a little bit of the race
At the finish line!
Kaela, Dani, Cassie, Michelle, Me, Amber, Darla
Carli, McKenna, Marci, Erin, Shannon, Stacia
Obviously we thought our Stripes were a big deal because we're showing them off in every picture.
I will definitely be doing this again! So much fun.
