Spring Break

After lots of debating this year on whether we were taking a Spring Break we finally decided to go up and stay in West Valley at the most fun hotel! It had a big water slide and a little splash pad/pool for the kids to play in. We had a great time. Cory and Walker went to a Real game the first night we got there and had a blast. We learned that when you go to those games you need to be careful of where you sit because the fans are very passionate about their team and they yell some interesting things. Walker learned a few things that he probably shouldn't have :)  Then we hit the zoo, checked out City Creek, walked all around temple square  and stopped at Bookdocks on the way home. It was a busy few days but chuck full of fun!

I think the carousel was the highlight of Meg's trip. She was so excited when we finally got around to going on it. The hardest part was deciding which animal to ride on.

Cory and PJ checking out the baby elephant. I think that was the highlight of my zoo trip. Baby animals are always so adorable.

picture of my monkeys posing in front of the monkey measuring pics.

posing in front of the peacock. And when I say posing..I mean it. Look at that pose Meg is in! So funny

Here we are at City Creek checking out the fountains.

had to get a pic in front of the tulips at the temple. It was so pretty.

How can you not love this picture! One of my faves for sure.

Meg~ Dance/Tumbling/Preschool Program

Meg has been having such a fun year in Preschool, Dance and Tumbling. They all ended about the same time so we had lots of programs that we had the chance to watch her perform in. She is the cutest little thing and loves performing and being the center of attention.

Here she is in her Dance program doing some ballet.

This was her doing her tap dance. I wish I would have taken some group pictures with her whole class. She had a huge class of 4/5 year olds. Her teacher was so cute and Meg had so much fun in there.

I definitely didn't get enough pictures of Meg in her preschool program. We mostly took video of it because they were dancing and singing. They were so cute. She was really sad when preschool got over. She kept asking me why school had to end and she had to stay home. I'm sure she won't ask me that again. She had such  a fun little class and she loved her teachers Mrs. Nielson, Mrs. Losee and Mrs. Houghton.

Here is her little tumbling class. She is getting pretty good at her cartwheels and front rolls. She had lots of friends in this class to play with. She performed on the trampoline and did a few passes with lots of cartwheels.

Walker

Walker has had such a fun time this Spring. He's been playing LOTS of soccer which he absolutely loves. His team was called "The Green Machines" and they had such a cute little group of boys. Cory coached them and I think is was as much fun for Cory to coach soccer as it was for Walker to play.  Walker is getting good at handling the ball and has been playing goalie lots of the time. It's so fun to watch him grow and get better each game.

Booting the ball outta there!

Here is Cory giving the team a pep talk after the game. He is so good with those boys and they loved him.

This is a picture of Walker in his end of the year program at school It was so cute! He is such a funny little guy and loves to dance. I obviously didn't get enough pictures of him. He did such a good job. After all of the 3rd grade was done they played "Party Rock Anthem" and he got to be one of the kids up there just bustin' a move.  He's got quite the moves. He was shufflin' and doing the robot. I had lots of people comment on how cute he was during this program. He doesn't get his dance moves from me thats for sure!
