Rez time

I'm pretty sure that we didn't spend enough time at the rez this year. I don't know what stopped us but we only took the boat out maybe twice. Not the norm for us. But I took the kids out a few times with some friends. They never want to leave that place. I don't either because I don't want to dig sand out of every nook and cranny on the girls.

Happy 4th

 We had another fun 4th of July this year. As usual we hit the parade, park, had a water party and went out to the ball parks to watch the fireworks after the derby. I'm an awful mom though and I don't have even one picture of Walker. He was in the parade with his soccer team and Cory and I forgot to take a picture of them. And I guess he was never around when I took pic the rest of the day. Oops

Happy Birthday Pres!!

Preslie turned 3 this June. It's sort of bittersweet when your baby turns three. Three means they're not so little anymore, they're also extra naughty it seems. But it also means freedom. No more packing a giant diaper bag everywhere you go. You can just put her shoes on and head out the door. So PJ I'm sad you're getting big, but so happy that you're so healthy and happy and full of life!

Girls trip

We went down to St. George this year and stayed with Haley for our annual girls trip to take all the little girls to Tuachan. We saw Mary Poppins this year. The girls always have lots of fun being crazy little girls, dressing up, playing barbies and just being together. My mom, Jamie, Haley, Steph and I like just being together and letting the girls entertain themselves. LOVE this tradition.

Utah Valley Half

Cory ran the Utah Valley half marathon this summer with pretty much no training. He did so awesome! Way to go Cory

Summer Games

Summer games was such a success this year! After 2 years of losing the bronze to a team we'd already won we finally won a medal!!  The boys did so well and had such a good time. Cory and Dusty were amazing coaches. We had a lot of fun spending the week in Cedar and watching Walker play his little heart out.

I had to put this one in too. Even though it's a screenshot from my phone. It was one of the highlights of the trip when Cory was pretending to be a monster and he fell between the wall and the bed in the hotel room and couldn't get out. We left him there for just a little longer than necessary 

Braceface

I had to get a pic of Walker on the day he got his braces. 

The ortho put an expander in his mouth that spread his teeth out like crazy so he got to be a gap tooth for a while. So now he gets to be a braceface to finish it off. 

Good thing he's such a cutie. Braces or not, he's adorable!

Aquarium with Karen

The girls and I got to spend the day with Karen while Cory and Walker went to Motocross. 

So we hit the aquarium and Nordstrom Rack. 

The girls loved the aquarium. I think the hits were the jellyfish and the otters.

Miller's Canyon

Over Memorial Day this year we went camping out west to Miller's Canyon. We had lots of fun. Playing catch, PIG with the soccer ball, hiking rocks, hiking the longest hike in the history of time with 5 little kids, riding the Razr on a scary ride with Cory, and just relaxing.
