Preslie turns two!!

I can't believe our baby is two! She is getting so big! We were going to be gone on PJ's birthday to summer games so we celebrated with Katie on her birthday and had a double birthday party.

Pres is the funniest little thing.
She loves Elmo, Dora and Max and Ruby
Loves to be outside, play in the sand and ride her bike
she would eat hot dogs, corn, peas or Mac and cheese for every meal of every day
She loves Walker and Meg
The other day in the car she was singing  "Hey Mommy, you're sexy! Hey Mommy, you're beautiful" It's a song from our Dance Central game. Cory and I laughed so hard!! Of course we couldn't get her to do it on video, but it is a super funny memory.
LOVES her Binky still.

We celebrated her birthday down at Summer Games at the house in St. George too. Jill and Lamar gave her a little Mickey Mouse train that she LOVES!
Birthday cupcake!
Pres had such a fun birthday week! She got a sandbox from us, a bike from Grandma Jane and Grandpa Mark, dolls from both Jamie and Barry and Shawn and Steph. She loved it all!!

Summer Games

Summer Games this year was quite the experience. Cory was the coach, Walker was the goalie, and I was the yelling mom on the sideline. Didn't know I had that in me! Not the yelling at the kids because they're doing something wrong kind...just the stressed out oops I didn't even mean for anything to come out of my mouth yelling. Having your son be the goalie is so fun, but so stressful.

Walker was an awesome goalie. It was fun to watch him dive, jump and attack the ball. He got to play forward too and was really good at that too, but goalie kept calling his name even though it wasn't what he wanted to do. We are super proud of Walker. Cory was an amazing coach too. It's fun to watch him get worked up. It takes a lot to get Cory yelling, not that he yelled much, but there was some pointing and exasperated hands on top of the head looks that he was pulling (I had to tell him to stop so the boys didn't see :). Way to be such a good coach Cory. The boys absolutely loved you.

We had Cory as the head coach and Dusty and Kandi as assistant coaches. The three of them were quite the perfect coaching team.

Our boys played four games. They stayed close in all the games and lost three and won one of them. They ended up losing the bronze medal. It was a heart breaker but the boys played their hearts out and they had lots of fun.

Have you seen a cuter huddle?

Meg eating a giant cotton candy at the Opening Ceremonies
The Opening ceremonies were so much fun. We saw Nitro Circus and Thrillbilles. The fireworks were amazing. I've never seen so many in my life.
Preslie downed that cotton candy so fast!

Family Time

We had our annual Petersen weekend the first part of June and had so much fun. This year we headed out to Lehman Caves to take everyone on a tour of the cave. The kids thought it was lots of fun/or were very scared of the dark. Meg was afraid of bugs and was freaking out until Steph bribed her with glittery pink lipgloss when we got home. She saved the day. I swear I've never been to that cave before but Cory insists that I went with him when we were dating. Must have been some sort of bad memory I blocked out:)

After our day of Lehman caves we headed back to mom and dad's and had dinner and watched "The Sandlot" on the projector in the back yard. The wind was trying to ruin our night but we figured out a way around it.

The next day we spent the morning at the res paddle boating, tubing, riding in the boat, lounging on the beach and playing in the sand. The weather was a little too cool to get me into the water but the kids braved it and had fun.

Ashlee refuses to get her picture taken so she covered her and Jace's face when she realized I was snapping a shot. The kids had lots of fun on the paddle boat. So did I!

PJ and Grandma

I love taking pictures of this little girl. Especially in that floppy hat
