Messy Meg

What Meg learned today: How to open a jar of Eucerin lotion. Not just normal lotion, the kind that sticks to you and won't disappear w/ out a WHOLE lot of rubbing. She came downstairs and wanted to wash her hands because they were sticky..what about her face??! She is so stinkin' funny. The good thing was that she only got a little on the carpet. I was so afraid to walk into her bedroom and see what mess I would find.

I definitely need to explain these pics. Yesterday Walker got a bloody nose, so after it stopped bleeding we stuck a piece of toilet paper up his nose just to be safe and after a while we noticed that Meg had disappeared. Well, she came back looking like this. I laughed so hard and thought it was so cute that I had to take a picture.

But then...just a little while later I told Walker to go put a shirt on. He went upstairs and came down with his head in his shirt pretending to be a turtle. Meg disappeared again. Well...as you can see, she came down wearing a shirt covering her head too. She even got a red one to match Walker's. I don't know if that was on purpose or not, but we'll pretend it was. She is so funny and wants to be just like her big brother. Lets hope they always get along like this! ...yeah right!

Two Easter Egg Hunts = Way too much candy

It was time again for the yearly Gordon Easter egg hunt/dinner. It was too cold to go outside and hunt Easter eggs this year so the Easter Bunny put all the kids toys/candy in buckets with their names on them and hid them out on the deck. What an AWESOME bunny. Then the kids got to go in the basement and hunt for a few eggs. Cory had to miss the party again this year because of the outage, but the kids still had a blast seeing their cousins and visiting Grandma and Grandpa. We had to miss the Easter egg hunt at my mom and dad's house but Grandma made sure that we didn't miss out on those Easter Egg treats. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Today is Jamie's bIrThdAy and I just wanted to give her a shoutout. Thanks so much for being such a great fRiEnD, AuNt, SiStEr, WorKoUT pArtNeR, eXaMpLe, you know...everything an awesome sister should be. I don't think I'd survive without you and I'm so lucky to be blessed with you as a big sis. Thanks for always being there for me and for always helping me out when I need you. I'm so happy that we get to live so close to each other. Your the best and I love you.
